Al Sharpton is younger than John McCain.

Sure, he grandstands - and takes liberties with the truth - but I tend to agree with him that the fact that he attracts so much criticism is a sign of his effectiveness as an activist. To put it bluntly, if he didn’t make white people uncomfortable, he probably wouldn’t be doing his job.
Rev. Al really took a lot of heat back in the late 80’s during the whole Tawana Brawley thing. For those who don’t know the story, Ms. Brawley was a teenager who accused six white men (including a few police officers of rape). These accusations were inflamed by Al (et al) and were later found to be untrue… a grand jury concluded that Brawley had not been the victim of anassault and that she herself may have created the appearance of an attack.
In related news, John Moody, executive vice president at Fox News, commented on his blog today that “if the (Ashley Todd) incident turns out to be a hoax, Senator McCain’s quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting.”
Well, guess what?

mcPOW’s followers too stupid to win.

Do you think your [and Al's] argument that he attracts so much criticism because he is effective is valid? If so then George Bush….. WOW!

On a scale of degree of lies, Obama is a professional socialpath lier. Politics aside, Obama lied about getting public campaign financing–this is just the beginning. No one knows where he gets at least 1/3 of his money from, probably from people who deal with drugs. Also, he used his childhood history as a big promoting factor, whereas he didn’t even visit his mother until after she died of cancer. He has never visited his aunt on his father’s side. Now he made a show to have visited his grandmother for less than a day.
If you watched Charlie Rose and the commentator David (I can’t recall the last name), the entire time Obama was in the Senate, he was never there for any meeting or decision making. He was never around. He does not have a good reputation in the Senate.
