Things younger than Republican Presidential candidate (oh, and did I forget to mention war hero?) John McCain

Am I being “age-ist”? Maybe. But maybe not. The world is a pretty complicated place right now and I’m thinking that it’s not such a great time to elect our oldest President ever. So sue me.

And, um…. oh, what the hell is that guy’s name again?

  3. Wow, he’s so proud to have his support that he can’t even remember his name. This guy is the worst.

  4. OK, it is possible to forget names when you get old. But the poor old guy makes it worse at the end by adding that George Schultz was one of the greatest S of S’s in history. That makes forgetting George’s name even worse!

Anyone else notice how in different places McCain likes to keep referring to “history”….Always makes HIM sound like a piece of history.

  8. I saw that Meet The Press interview, and I thought that he would have done better just keeping his mouth shut. Everybody has one of those”senior moments” – if he hadn’t looked so happy with himself that he finally remembered Schultz’ name, I don’t think it would have seemed so sad…what am I saying? What’s so sad is the fact that he still refuses to release his medical records. Especially after an incident like this. I wonder how much of an insult it would be to a world leader (China, Russia, Iran, N. Korea, etc.) if McShame forgot his name in the middle of negotiations?

  9. #8 – I agree. I’m only 46 and I forget stuff that were on the tip of my tongue too. But you admit and move on. That he remembered and interrupted the interview was actually worse than forgetting in the first place.

  10. On a scale of degree of lies, Obama is a professional socialpath lier. Politics aside, Obama lied about getting public campaign financing–this is just the beginning. No one knows where he gets at least 1/3 of his money from, probably from people who deal with drugs. Also, he used his childhood history as a big promoting factor, whereas he didn’t even visit his mother until after she died of cancer. He has never visited his aunt on his father’s side. Now he made a show to have visited his grandmother for less than a day.
If you watched Charlie Rose and the commentator David (I can’t recall the last name), the entire time Obama was in the Senate, he was never there for any meeting or decision making. He was never around. He does not have a good reputation in the Senate.
