While you’re on the subject of animated/drawn characters, he is also older than Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and The Flash. He’s also older than the movie versions of The Wizard of Oz and Gone with the Wind (It’s a tossup whether he’s older than the original novel of Gone with the Wind, as it came out in 1936 also; you’d have to check the exact publication date).
