Radiocarbon Dating is younger than John McCain.

I read an article (and I think I posted about it a while back) that said that John McCain lied about his age when he was “wooing” his lovely and loaded “trophy” wife. Had she been a science major at USC rather than a cheerleader, she might have been able to - wait for it - yes, perform Radiocarbon Dating on her soon-to-be geezer husband. Thank you. Don’t forget to tip your waitress.

She also could have performed dendrochronology (tree ring dating - which is ambiguously younger than McCain) but that’s far too messy.

Tang is younger than John McCain.

William A. Mitchell had a very full life. As a food chemist working for General Foods, he was the key inventor behind Pop Rocks (younger), quick-set Jell-O (way older - but more exciting), Cool Whip (younger), powdered egg whites (grosser), and - of course - Tang.

Is there not one among us that doesn’t owe Mitchell a debt of gratitude? Is that not the most poorly constructed sentence you’ve read today? (Sue me. I, much like Lindsey Graham, am tired.)

The discovery of oil in the desert is younger than John McCain.

I originally posted this one a while back but took it down after a bunch of people had a hissy fit because the title was just “Oil” - and I guess they thought that I never went to high school and hadn’t ever heard of geology and John D. Rockefeller.

But, now that the dust has settled and life has calmed down a bit, I’m posting it again because I think it’s a good one… and, given the current price of gas, particularly relevant.

I’m also posting it again because I recently watched Fahrenheit 9/11 (again) and the whole thing about Bush and Arbusto Energy makes me want to vomit.
