Things younger than Republican Presidential candidate (oh, and did I forget to mention war hero?) John McCain

Am I being “age-ist”? Maybe. But maybe not. The world is a pretty complicated place right now and I’m thinking that it’s not such a great time to elect our oldest President ever. So sue me.

If enough people see this video, McCain is finished.

This nine and a half minute video, taken from jedreport.com, is truly staggering. It shows McCain’s long record of passionate support for both President Bush and the Iraq war - despite his recent claims of being its “greatest critic” - and it shows how deeply committed he is to maintaining the status quo regardless of the will of America or Iraq.

Please watch… and forward like crazy.

  10. Poor little guy. He’s fallen in love with Mr Bush, fallen victim to the power of the presidential office to shape public thinking with announcements. People like this will always believe that whatever the armed forces are being sent to do is noble.

It would be charming if what he’s supporting were not such a horror.

  11. I like how he’s laughing when he’s talking about how ‘americans should be satisfied with where their tax dollars are going’.

  12. What about the rest of the story? At the same time there was intense pressure on McCain to support the republican party. He did not support the war in the beginning just the concept. The entire nation wanted somthing done at the time these clips are from. Why chop it up to make it look worse than it should be. Reality does not need a filter. Truth just is.

  13. Mich, what do you mean he supported the concept not the war? Does it really make a difference to you if someone is against a war but is all for the concept of going to war? To me its all the same. He likes the concept of sending our young men and women to die in some foreign land.
