Am I being “age-ist”? Maybe. But maybe not. The world is a pretty complicated place right now and I’m thinking that it’s not such a great time to elect our oldest President ever. So sue me.

So,
What you are trying to say is that John Mccain as seen more shit happen then anyone else running for office. Most likely he has far more experience than the other two idiots trying to run this country. Hopefully he has also made a ton of mistakes that he has learned from, from being so damn old. Thank you for helping me decide to vote him into office rather than the snot nosed brats who have yet to do or see any kind of shit.Let’s not have them fuck up our country before they have a chance to fuck up their own life.

Des Plaines, IL…the site of this McDonalds…the first in the world. My town is famous! The town itself, however, is older than McCain

I remember McDonalds from my childhood in Illinois in the early 1960s in Illinois. Back then, the hamburgers actually tasted like real food and cost only 10 cents (ten for a dollar).
To commenter #1, since McCain has already “F-ed” up his own life, this is a reason why we should let him “F” up the country too? Like anyone could be worse than George Bush. But McCain is a very close second.

To commenter #3 I said that hopefully McCain learned from his mistakes not that he fucked up his life, learn to read english not whatever language the non american you want in office speaks.

Kevin-
What you said was, you hope McCain has made lots of mistakes. This implies that you hope he has fucked up his life. Granted, you hope he’s learned from it, but you still hope he’s fucked it up.
And for the record, I hardly think Obama (at 46) or Clinton (at 60) are snot-nosed brats. They surpass the age requirement for becoming President by 11 and 15 years, respectively. They just aren’t old enough for anyone to start worrying about them having senile dementia while in office.

P.S Kevin-
They’re all Americans too. Yes, even Obama is an American, and the fact that he’s not interested in showing his patriotism through empty gestures like wearing a flag pin only makes me respect him more. Like the whole “tax vacation” thing, it tells me that he wants to do something effective, not make a little show to impress people. I’m NOT trying to belittle McCain’s war experience, just saying that it’s not exactly fair to belittle the other candidates’ “American-ness” either.

Kevin, do you look down upon all non-Americans, or just the ones whose skin is darker than yours?
What a bigot you are, no wonder you are voting for the race-baiting republicans.

I hope Kevin isn’t basing his vote off one candidates race or color, I really enjoyed Lyn’s educated non-violent come-backs. Kevin Got the Skinny.

But I can relate to Kevin’s frustration as well, though i didnt admire his enabilty to use any kind of tact in voicing his opinion, i think Kevin’s opinion in a way speaks for the over all “frustrated american opinion.” The frustration comes from the anger we all can relate to because of the hole the country has fallen into, while we’re forced to just sit and watch helplessly, then we want a NEW president to fix everything, when it’s not quite that simple. there are alot more factors we have to take into cosideration if we want things “Fixed”

and whats pretty comical about comment #1 is that it seems like Kevin is making up his mind just during his elaborate comment. LMAO
