Am I being “age-ist”? Maybe. But maybe not. The world is a pretty complicated place right now and I’m thinking that it’s not such a great time to elect our oldest President ever. So sue me.
John McCain is woefully out of touch. Is it because he is incredibly old? Maybe. Or maybe he’s choosing to completely ignore reality because that’s the only way he can distance himself from the failed policies of his party.
Case in point: apparently, the economy is humming along just fine…

He is worthless on the campaign trail - and what’s worse, he knows it. He is completely self-aware that he is boring that crowd to death during and can’t stop. People are literally nodding off in the background. I picture him constantly asking his aides, “How long til Sarah gets back? Now how long? Now how long?”
The more Obama reminds people it’s about him and McCain, not Palin, the better.
