Am I being “age-ist”? Maybe. But maybe not. The world is a pretty complicated place right now and I’m thinking that it’s not such a great time to elect our oldest President ever. So sue me.

Oh dear, I shouldn’t have watched that. She’s using “anti-American” to mean “opposed to current American government policies”, which is so wrong there’s no path to right from where it is.
And again with the paranoid “far Left” stuff. Ugh.

“I’m getting the next ticket to Canada”. Haha.

I’m scared. If McCain is elected it’s going to be The Red Scare all over again, except with liberals.
I am legitimately scared to voice my opinion and THAT is anti-american.

Bachmann & Palin are my heros! (In my alternate evil universe.) So, Palin is coming to my town on Monday, (gag), apparently Grand Junction, CO must be Pro-America enough for her, but I have news for her….I am sooooo Pro-America & completely anti-you.

What exactly are “liberal, left-wing educational policies”? Does she mean, like, evolution?
I am highly anti-American right now, thanks to what our current American government has done to the country. I want to take America back. And I sure do hope Obama feels the same way I do. You gosh-darn betcha.
Now, Miss If-This-Were-John-McCain-You’d-Be-All-Over-It, may I ask you something? How much more anti-American can you get than wanting to seceede from America?

I think McCain has more in common with Ayers than Obama. They both bombed stuff ’cause of the Vietnam War!

Excuse me, gracious host, but do you *seriously* believe that these people will STFU if Obama wins the election? I’m not looking forward to reality bursting that bubble of yours. Let me assure you, the vicious smearing we’ll see from these mouth breathers during an Obama administration will make their Clinton-era witch hunts look like a polite cough.
This stuff is merely the preparatory ground work. They bring up all this voter fraud business now so that they can claim Obama was elected illegitimately. They’re whipping up hatred toward him now to try to depress his approval ratings and keep him defending himself instead of working on his agenda. They’re making these nasty insinuations against him and the democrats now to get ready for the 2010 and 2012 elections. And so on and so on and so on.
Clinton was insulated from some of it because he was a Southern white boy. And he was still smeared as a murderer, a drug runner, etc. Obama is a black man. Nothing will be off the table for these people when it comes to tearing him down.
It is coming. Get ready for it.

Ugh, so shameful.
I saw this yesterday - apparently her Democrat opponent raised over $450,000 in the 24 hours since Hardball aired. In addition, her Republican opponent from the primary has filed to be a write-in candidate in the wake of her comments.

Do they accept dinosaur to join the party, at Republican?

Seriously how do these right wing wackos get into office? I am disgusted.

I appreciate conveying things that are so outrageous it just bears repeating, but the blog has really gotten away from what I first came here for.
The material presented to show the the absurdity of the republican party is often volatile and offensive to the extent that the undecided voters we need would be turned off by it before reading any further.
Get back to the original premise of the blog, posting you tube videos of gaffes is poor political commentary. I’m sure there are still plenty of things out there younger than McCain (like me for example). Do not let outrage and emotion take over what has thus far been a good thing, which has been pointing out that age is a significant and legitimate issue when considering a Presidential candidate.

it’s gonna be 4 years of obama BOUGHT the white house.

6-
Yah, what are these “policies”…? Evolution…or being you know, accepting other people (race, religion…)? Cuz if that’s the case, the Republicans say that’s wrong, Communist, and UN ANERICAN.
Comment by Christina — October 19, 2008 @ 2:55 pm
#15 - How about this?: Michele Bachmann is younger than John McCain.
Comment by Chancy — October 20, 2008 @ 3:40 pm
Just thought you might like to know, the NRCC is apparently no longer giving advertising support to Rep. Bachmann. She’s basically being left to win or lose the race on her own.
