Things younger than Republican Presidential candidate (oh, and did I forget to mention war hero?) John McCain

Am I being “age-ist”? Maybe. But maybe not. The world is a pretty complicated place right now and I’m thinking that it’s not such a great time to elect our oldest President ever. So sue me.

  3. Palin personally believes that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because some people in our nation do not have maps, like such as in the Iraq, and the Asian countries…

  4. 1,

you’re giving her too much credit. what she said was way more damning than nothing… she said “i am grossly underqualified and an insult to talented republican women everywhere.”

  6. Holy moly! Did she get hit by a hockey puck when she was younger? She’s turning into a bigger joke than Dan Quayle! Gulp!! But he actually became VP…aaaaaaarrrrrgh!!!!

  8. Er… what?
Reminds me of the essays I had to write in high school… “Okay, I need to fill one more page, so let’s write some gibberish, which seems to be related to the subject, but actually is not.”

  9. And Dan Quayle managed to have, not one, but several open press conferences as a VP candidate. No wonder she can’t even have one.

  10. Oops, guess I was late! Turns out she had a press conference a few hours ago.

  14. There’s this wonderfully transparant moment when she starts to flounder after she tries to connect the bailout with reforming healthcare, you can actually watch her remember one of her talking points about job creation. She’s so relieved that she goes “oh!” and her hands fly up.
Listening to her reminds me of listening to flight attendents going through the safety routine at the begining of the flight. They’ve repeated the same lines so many times that it sounds utterly hollow. But soothing.

  15. this is how sarah palin comes up to answers:

    1. pretend to listen to question
    2. string random words that sound political-ish together into an incoherent answer
    3. hope that somewhere along the lines someone somewhere in the universe agrees with you
    4. if asked to clarify, repeat steps 1-3.

  16. She reminds me a lot of Miss Teen South Carolina

  17. She has a really annoying voice by the way. McCain should’ve chosen Condi Rice for his VP. She has a much nicer voice. Also, she is not only a woman, but also black, so not along Hillary supporters, the Obama supporters would’ve automatically voted for McCain.

  18. This is the person that fox news claims women identify with. Who is the sexist now? Has anyone asked her if she knows what the bailout is? No, because that’s a “gotcha” question.

(It’s only because she has breasts that I’m against her anyway)
